Family Of Late MKO Abiola Insists That He Should Be Declared Ex President Of Nigeria

The immediate family of  the acclaimed winner of the June 12 elections Late Chief MKO Abiola have asked the Federal government to declare the late politician the ex president of Nigeria as according to them, naming UNILAG after him is not enough.

The younger brother to the late political icon Alhaji Mubashiru Abiola, described his brother as the 'sacrificial lamb' for democracy in Nigeria.

The call was made when Ogun  State Government led by Governor Ibikunle Amosun and a  campaign train of civil society groups visited them  as part of activities marking the 19th anniversary of the annulment of the election.
