Beyonce took to her tumblr page to write an open letter to Timmy, a blind fan who she met in 2007 at the Grammys, when he was just 13. But instead of allowing his blindness hold him back, he’s just graduated from high school and has been accepted to a college in Pennsylvania

But this never slowed him down — he has proven to everyone, that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard. In Philadelphia, he’s known as the good luck charm to the Eagles and whenever he sings the national anthem before a game they always win. His strength and determination is an inspiration.
