Beauty Queen Woes: MBGN 2012 Winner Dethroned + Nike Oshinowo Looses Her Miss Nigeria Franchise

Nigerian beauty queens Nike Oshinowo and the current winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant Isabella Ayuk , are currently not having the best of times right now.

While former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (1991) Nike Oshinowo Soleye has reportedly lost her rights to host the Miss Nigeria pageant (the franchise is owned by Daily Times), Miss Isabella Ayuk has reportedly been dethroned. The beauty queen reportedly lost her crown because she falsified her age.

Damiete Charles Granville

Reports have it that after the organisers of MBGN were bombarded with reports that she falsified her age, they carried out their investigations and found out that the allegations were indeed true. It did not help that she is allegedly over 24 years old, which is the maximum age for contestants eligible to contest in the Miss World beauty pageant

Her runner up Damiete Charles Granville will represent Nigeria in the upcoming Miss World contest.
