Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Declared 'Clinically Dead'

President Mubarak has been declared clinically dead. The 84 year old had been put on a respirator and was reported to be in a critical condition.

Mubarak who was sentenced to life in prison for failing to stop the killing of protesters during last year’s uprising against him, has been experiencing deteriorating health.

Egypt’s state news MENA has reported that he had been declared clinically dead by his doctors after his heart stopped beating. However security sources are disputing this claim.
According to Gen. Mamdouh Shahenn, a member of the Supreme Coucil of the Armed Forces,
“He is not clinically dead as reported, but his health is deteriorating and he is in critical condition”.
