The Reason Why Central Hospital Benin Collapsed

The new Central hospital building in Edo State collapsed because part of a crane fell off. Like I reported initially, a life was lost (I had to take that part down to verify it )…. A white expatriate.

Contrary to what was initially reported by me, it is part of the building that collapsed not the whole building.

According to what I gathered, the head of the crane and what it was lifting fell, destroying part of the building. In the process, that part collapsed trapping some people.

A search team swung into action to see if there was anybody trapped. In the process they found a worker who told them that his boss was still trapped.

Unfortunately when they found the white expatriate, it was too late, as he was already dead.
