The new building of Central hospital has collapsed. Unconfirmed reports have it that the building contractor who was supervising the construction of the building and some other people were killed in the process. Some people are also trapped in the building.
The government owned hospital is located on Sapele road and is about 15 minutes drive from Edo State Government House, Golf Course, Benin City.
