The minister of power Prof. Barth Nnnaji got more than what he bargained for when he was held hostage for about 30mins by workers of PHCN at the PHCN headquarters in Abuja on December 31st 2011
According to the gist the minister, was held hostage because the workers felt he was about to leave without addressing their concerns over their handover to eleven electricity distribution companies.
The minister was only allowed to leave after the PHCN union chairman, Comrade James Ayeni intervened.
