Final Year Unilag Student Slumps 'n' Dies On Football Pitch

Was doing my normal blog tafia and i came across this sad story on Ladun Liadi's blog. Please read.....

Rammy Yesufu a final year student of University of Lagos and also a member of the prestigious ABF Football and Social club, Adeniyi Jones, died yesterday while playing football on the pitch. He was said to have slumped, tried to get up but fell back before his friends rushed to him and took him to a nearby hospital. Just as the Nurse laid him down for treatment he gave up the ghost. He will be buried today at VGC.

 

Sometimes I wonder how an active young person, wakes up in the morning looking all healthy  and happy, then the next thing you hear is that the person slumped and died........... just like that!. Growing up such things only used to happen to old people. Wonder why this is rampant among young people these days.
