Embattled house of reps member Mr Farouk Lawan has been suspended. Mr Lawan who is currently in police custody (he spent the night there)was suspended by his colleagues pending the outcome of the alleged bribery claim made against him by Mr Femi Odetola.
In related news the speaker Federal house of Representatives, Mr Tambuwal is #winning.
Members of the House passed a vote of confidence on him today. This is a blow to some influential parties in the executive arm of government. Word has it that they wanted Tambuwal ousted.
