The ancient city of Kano was today thrown into confusion as multiple bomb blasts and gun shots occurred at the sports complex, of the old campus of Bayero University, Kano. Christian worshippers who were gathered for worship are believed to have been the target of the attack. The exact number of people that died as a result of the attack are unknown but it is believed that over 10 people including 2 professors lost their lives.
